Greg DiStefano

Agent at Chapala Realtors

About Greg DiStefano

I’ve been fascinated with residential architecture since an early age, and turned that passion into a profession at age 18 when I became a licensed real estate agent in Providence, Rhode Island. I worked part-time in the industry while I pursued my bachelor’s degree from Brown University.

I then moved to New York City to pursue an MBA in marketing from Columbia University, and spent the following 25 years in the fields of marketing and public relations, including 10 years as a senor partner at the J. Walter Thompson ad agency. In 1999, I was awarded a Silver Anvil award by the Public Relations Society of America, for the “Best Integrated Communications Program” in the U.S. for my millennium-themed campaign on behalf of the diamond giant, De Beers.

When I hit a certain milestone birthday, I was ready for a new life and a fresh adventure, and moved to Ajijic. Ever since, I’ve been working here as a real estate agent where I enjoy combining my marketing skills and love of architecture to help buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals.
